Among the infinite Buddhas and infinite Pure Lands, why does Shakyamuni Buddha repeatedly encourage us to seek rebirth in Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land? Because Amitabha Buddha made 48 Great Vows specifically to save ordinary beings like us who are still trapped in samsara (especially the 18th vow).
Other Pure Lands certainly exist, but many require a high level of spiritual attainment to enter. Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land is unique because it is open to all beings who have faith, vows, and practice, especially through reciting Amitabha Buddha’s Name.

There are two kinds of bodhisattvas: those who have attained the stage of non-regression, and those who have only just generated bodhicitta. Only non-regressing bodhisattvas can safely remain in Samsara to liberate sentient beings without falling back. Other bodhisattvas and ordinary beings should first seek rebirth in Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land. By attaining rebirth there, one can quickly realise non-regression and enlightenment, then return freely to countless worlds to help save sentient beings.

She explains why attaining rebirth in Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land is not contradictory to the teaching of emptiness.

How should we understand AI from a Buddhist perspective? Shifu Shengchi explores how Buddhism views artificial intelligence and the nature of mind. AI is neither inherently good nor bad — it's simply a tool shaped by human intention. The talk also covers why Buddhists and lightworkers should embrace AI wisely, to spread the Dharma and bring greater wisdom and compassion into the world.
